This stuff is amazing for aging dogs! My dog started showing signs of “sundowning“. She was pacing the perimeter of my room and/or sitting on my bed and shaking violently while staring at nothing. She had begun to slow down, not wanting to go on walks and not interested in playing with her toys. During this time, I changed her food and started cooking fresh food for her. I know she needed more supplements, so after some research I went with this brand. The immediate change that I noticed in my dog was absolutely amazing! My dog is 12 going to be 13 this year and she has so much energy. She truly acts like a puppy again. Yes the smell of the supplement is strong, but it’s well worth the benefits. My dog doesn’t mind the taste or the texture of it once I mix it in with her food.

My border collie is 10 and on this over 12 months. Her health is great, the vet was amazed at how she is doing. This is an everyday supplement that i will not go without.

I started my 8yo pit mix on this supplement when I ordered it for my 15 year old puggle. Initially, they needed to get used to the flavor, which I see many people note is a reason their dogs don’t like it. Here’s what I will say. When I took my 8yo for her annual, which included her first senior panel, the vet was amazed and said to me ‘She is in amazing shape. Whatever you’re doing, keep doing it.’ I will say that the previous year, the vet had detected a minor heart murmur, which my 15yo also had. Both of them were on Arterra and Standard Process Cardio Plus, which I gave 1 a day and then upped to 1 a meal at the advice of a holistic vet, and then murmurs went away for both dogs. In addition to this, the customer service for Arterra is top notch. We’ve also tried the toothpaste and both dogs tolerate it well.

One dog loves it, the other is starting to like it. Too early to comment on any effects.
